Prep Soccer Norcal Talent ID Camp Defensive Stalwarts

A talented group of players came together to do some speed, agility and endurance tests before getting put through some shooting, 1 v 1 and possession drills with an 11 v 11 game to finish. Over the next few days I will be highlighting some standout players from the event. She tested really well as far as her speed and agility. In the 1 v 1 drills she proved to a lockdown defender. During the 11 v 11 game she mopped up so many times when the ball got played in behind. Excellent 1 v 1 defender and has excellent ball skills. She advances the ball well and is really good at finding further forward players in good positions. She bombs forward any chance she gets and delivered a couple of excellent crosses. Excellent technique, great first touch and exquisite tight space ball control. She had a couple lovely dribbles into space breaking the midfield and defensive lines of the opposition by herself. Combined well with her midfield and always seems to want the ball. Like most MVLA talents she had excellent awareness and positioning. Loves to combine passes and play around opposition. If there was ever a foot race she won it comfortably. She prevented two sure goals with her commitment and competitive spirit to not let her team get scored on. Her footwork was excellent always steering attackers into spaces where she had help from her teammates. She scored in the top 5-10% in all of our tests, had some incredible moments in the 1 v 1 and possession drills. She played left back in the 11 v 11 and balled out.
