Cisek scored the game-winning goal for [program_tooltip program_id='283457' first='San' last='Antonio City SC'] and was a constant threat in the attack. She played on the wings and kept Sting's backline under constant pressure with her direct and aggressive game. Cisek was very dangerous with her runs, getting very close to scoring another goal in one of them, and also had good presence inside the penalty box. The forward also demonstrated excellent energy to press and drop back to support the defense.

Willis led the line for [program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last=''] and did well operating as the focal point of their offense. The striker scored the team's first goal in the match with a beautiful left-footed shot that went into the upper corner after picking up the rebound of a corner kick. She had a good presence inside the penalty box, fought hard for the ball in the final third and was a handful for Albion's backline. Willis also showed good quality when she dropped back to connect with her temmates and engage in combination plays through the midde.

Playing as an attacking midfielder, James was very active offensively for Sting and most of the team's chances in the match had her stamp. She was excellent at generating space in the middle with quick body moves and made the right choice every time she had the ball, helping set up attacking plays with her impressive intelligence on the ball. James scored the goal that helped Sting break the deadlock with a beautiful shot from well outside the box. The midfielder demonstrated excellent vision to deliver passes in the final third and also infiltrated into the penalty box when she had a chance.

Stuart helped Challenge earn a comeback win in their first match in the event with a strong performance. The forward was the focal point of her team's offense and was excellent at being an option to her teammates, making intelligent runs to explore the space behind the backline. Stuart also stood out for her positioning inside the penalty box and her ability to work with her back to the goal and facilitate plays in the attacking half. She scored Challenge's first goal in the match after winnign the ball from a defender and firing a left-footed shot from a difficult angle.

Schimunek helped Albion keep a clean sheet against a talented Texans team and earn the win in their first match in College Station. The Peruvian youth international spent time at left back and center back and her strong defensive skills were particularly important in the second half, when the Texans pushed for an equalizer. Schimunek was very firm and precise with her defensive actions and showed great understanding of the game when she stepped up to press higher. She also did well with long passes and in set pieces, either sending the ball into the attacking penalty box or finding well-weighted passes behind the backline.

Minyard decided the match for [program_tooltip program_id='283397' first='[program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last='']' last='SC'] by scoring the game-winning goal in the first half and was their most dangerous attacking player. She spent most of the time on the left wing and was a constant threat to Rise's backline with her tremendous quality on the ball and aggressive game. Minyard consistently used her first touch to get a head start over opponents and was very creative with it, constantly catching them off guard. She was very strong in 1v1 plays out wide, but also brought the ball inside to combine with her teammates, especially striker Chloe Allen. Minyard fired a dangerous shot from outside the box right at the start of the match and did a great job of following up on a finish from one of her teammates to pick the rebound up and score.

Ramberg helped [program_tooltip program_id='342634' first='FC' last='Westlake'] earn a hard-fought win with her clean and efficient game. She worked as a defensive midfielder for most of the match, but also spent some time in central defense and provided great balance and stability with her game. Ramberg was very good at shielding the team's backline, standing out for her ability to cover ground and positioning in the center of the field. The midfielder was excellent on the ball, too, moving it intelligently and making great passing decisions throughout the match.

Siefert contributed to Westlake's victory with a strong two-way performance in the center of the field. Sitting in front of the team's backline, she made a solid defensive impact with her positioning and her ability to win duels and get to second balls. Siefert was also pivotal in possession, quarterbacking her team's offense with her intelligent distribution. She always looked for passes that would break pressing lines and get her teammates in good spots in the attacking half and was very successful with it, connecting the vast majority of them.

Brown played a big role in San Antonio SC's win, leading their offensive efforts on the left flank. Very quick and technical, she torched [program_tooltip program_id='342634' first='FC' last='Westlake']'s defender, making it to the end line on numerous occasions and showing selflessness to always look for her teammates to give them the ball. She was directly involved in her team's last two goals in the match, delivering a perfect pass behind the backline in one of them and firing the shot that generated a rebound that led to the other one. Brown also created problems in set pieces, taking dangeorus in-swing corner kicks from the left.

Wyche helped the Texans come out on top in a high-scoring game, delivering strong intensity and solid production up top. She scored the team's first goal in the match with a great run behind the backline and continued to get in great positions to finish thanks to her smart movement in the final third. Wyche timed her runs extremely well and did well in playing on the limit, but consistently remaining onside. When [program_tooltip program_id='342634' first='FC' last='Westlake']'s backline was organized she would drop deeper to get involved in the team's plays so she could drag a center back out of position and quickly attack the space generated by it.
