For the Future: Six 2031s from Michigan

While scouting the 2030 class for Michigan, we got an early look at a handful of 2031s who are impressing against their older peers. These are players from ECNL and Girls Academy who look like the top talent in the state at this early stage. This also includes a couple of players who could be among the best in the country in this class. Check out a scouting report on some of the names to know below. The best description for the Michigan Hawks star midfielder is that she is an absolute joy to watch in any game. Chinyadza is fast, covers a ton of ground, and has mesmerizing skill on the ball. She's a box-to-box or defensive midfielder - but could probably play anywhere. The aspect of her game that has been really impressive this season is her playmaking in the center of the field. She's shown that she can take over the game at any moment. Chinyadza has all the tools to be the midfielder for the US Youth National Team to build around for the future. Zhou was one of the players who jumped off the screen from Girls Academy games this season. She can play as a winger, wide midfielder, or attacking midfielder. Zhou has good technical skill and toughness to her game. She is a two-way player and will get stuck in on the challenge. Zhou has shown the moments to suggest her versatility will be a key part of her game for a long time. She's also a creative player on the ball and a game breaker in the final third. Srock was a favorite to watch from the 2011/2012 ECNL games. She is an outstanding goalkeeper who is only scratching the surface. She's been part of US Soccer Talent ID Center events in the past. She's got excellent hands, good read on the game, and strong distribution skills. Srock is the type of goalkeeper who can change the game with her abilities. She makes outrageous saves regularly, but she also is incredibly consistent from game to game. She looks like a top goalkeeper from the 2031 class on the national level and one to watch. Russell is a defensive midfielder on the Michigan Tigers 2011/2012 Girls Academy team. She's an athletic player who covers a ton of ground in every game. Russell tends to play a direct style. She's not going to take a ton of touches, but she's going to get the ball into the attack in a hurry. She's fearless in the duel. She wins a ton of tackles too. Russell has the tools to be a dominant player in the club game. She's been brilliant this season. Moylan is a center back on the Michigan Hawks 2011/2012 ECNL team. She plays left center back for her club team. She is a starter on one of the best 2011/2012 ECNL teams in the country. She is a key reason for the teams defense success so far this season. The expectations are sky high for Moylan. She has the quality to be among the best defenders in the country in this class with her competitiveness, athleticism, and quality. Vogel is a center forward on the Michigan Jaguars 2011/2012 Girls Academy team. She has been a bright spot for her club team at the start of the campaign. She has great instincts for her back-to-goal play. She also has strength to hold off defenders and quick reflexes to pounce on chances around the goal. Vogel recently scored a brilliant goal against Elmbrook. I think that will unlock some confidence for the rest of the season in front of goal.
