Expert Analysis
JR Eskilson | Prep Soccer Scout
Russell is a defensive midfielder on the Michigan Tigers 2011/2012 Girls Academy team. She’s an athletic player who covers a ton of ground in every game. Russell tends to play a direct style. She’s not going to take a ton of touches, but she’s going to get the ball into the attack in a hurry. She’s fearless in the duel. She wins a ton of tackles too.
Russell has the tools to be a dominant player in the club game. She’s been brilliant this season.
