There is a notable lack of ranked class of 2027 midfielders, considering that many of them have committed to a university already. Despite this, you can still read about them, as I believe that there are many exciting prospects in that class.

Rhyan is a star in the making who deserves much more recognition. Her attributes put her well beyond a player who has locked down the basics. She is a delight to watch, the type of player that you take time out of your day to watch play. Her flair is unbelievable. The way she treats the ball is not normal for any player, let alone one this young. Her passing is just as great as her dribbling. She can act as both a chance creator and playmaker. Her talent goes beyond just someone who can go pro. She has everything in her locker to become someone special if it all goes right.

Katherine is a brilliantly intelligent and mature defensive midfield talent who makes the game look so easy. She gives her team both pause and drive, controlling the tempo of the play from deep. When she comes into possession of the ball, it's almost as if everything seems to fall into place. The clarity with which she plays is admirable, especially for someone her age. She has the vision to know what pass a specific play asks for instead of safely recycling the ball. Whether it's through incisive passes or long passes, she finds a teammate in the best position to advance play. Defensively, she's just as magnificent. She imposes herself easily, intercepting and anticipating plays constantly. Rarely does she need to get dirty to assert her presence in the middle of the park. Her strength and pace help her immensely in winning the ball back so often.

There isn't much else to say about Chatham that hasn't been said already. If her present is already so bright, her future is something truly special. Her attributes, sharpened even more, would have people talking constantly, as they already do. Fast, agile, progressive, intelligent, she has everything, and more, from what you ask of an attacking midfielder or winger. The sky is only her floor if she develops into the player she can become.
