Ryu was involved in two of the Dynamo's three goals and was a constant threat to [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas']' defensive system. The left-footed playmaker spent time on both wings and used his dribbling skills to beat opponents 1v1 and make plays out wide. Ryu scored the Dynamo's first goal after beating an opponent in a tight space inside the box and firing a powerful shot and he registered the assist for the third goal after taking a short corner on the right. He provided great service off corner kicks and free kicks on the side of the box and generated other opportunities for his team.

Iglesias had a solid shift in midfield and helped the Dynamo control the center of the field and the flow of the game. He covered a lot of ground and was very precise with his defensive actions, standing out for his excellent read of the game and the timing of his tackles. Iglesias also appeared well in possession, moving the ball intelligently and always looking to get it into the final third. He was excellent in the play of the third goal, reading the path of Ryu's cross and hitting the ball with a nice first-time shot.

Reyes made some good runs through the center that helped his team break the opposing press and get the ball into the attacking half.
