Iglesias also came in following the halftime break, and his presence in the center of the field immediately raised the Dynamo’s level of play. The midfielder embraced the responsibility of leading the team’s offense and did a good job of consistently getting on the ball and making things happen in the attacking half. Iglesias stood out for his passing vision and helped set up many offensive plays for the Dynamo, most notably the team’s first goal, in which he fed Munoz with an excellent pass. He also delivered great intensity off the ball and helped his team dominate the center of the field and take full control of the match.
