Cuero played the full 90 minutes and was very intense and efficient in midfield for the Dynamo. He covered a lot of ground defensively, won many duels, and was always a challenge for Sonny G’s midfielders when they got on the ball. In the first half, when the Dynamo wasn’t as effective at creating chances, he was involved in some of them by infiltrating into the penalty box with well-timed runs. Cuero had more of a defensive role in the second half and provided the support for the team’s offense to operate and produce the goals the team needed to take the win.
