Rico had a strong performance in midfield and was among the most active players on the Rangers’ side. He was very active at shielding the team’s backline and had good success in physical duels, dispossessing opponents and making stops in the center of the field. Rico also distributed the ball well, intelligently picking his passes and connecting the vast majority of them. He did a good job of supporting the offense, too, making good runs on the right side, and set up the team’s goal with a perfect pass behind the backline.

Rico offered a strong presence for the Rangers in the center of the field, which allowed them to compete even when GFI Academy were performing better. He was fixed in front of the team’s backline and shut down many plays, either by stopping long passes in the air or winning duels. Rico also did good work on the ball, moving it quickly and efficiently. He had a great chance to score in the second half, when he made a run to the back post after a free kick, but his shot went wide.
