Lloyd was an integral part of the McDonogh backline that finished second in the MIAA Tournament Championship this season. In the finals against Calvert Hall, one of the top high school sides in the country, he more than held his own, keeping them at bay with excellent box outs and superb passing from the back. Although Calvert Hall did end up winning the match 1-0, Lloyd and the Eagles impressed and should be considered as one of the top teams in the state heading into next season.
