About Shayleigh

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I can play with a 3 or 4 back in front of me. I have the footwork and comfortability with the ball at my feet to play out of the back or distribute long. I am fearless with great athletic ability to come quickly off my line to clean up scraps or go 1v1. I play high off my line for balls that get played over the top. I also know how important it is to be good in the air in college, almost every gam

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

You would be adding a goalkeeper with a great understanding of coaching and coaches because of my time spent with college teams because of my dad, I am coachable, good under pressure, consistently adapt and want to win and compete. I also will graduate early and want to attend school in the spring so I can adjust and adapt to the new environment.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I come from a college soccer coaching family. My dad is the Associate Head women's soccer coach at Troy University. I understand what you all are going through at this time of year. I know with the new rules and roster caps things are going to change drastically. I am working on several official visits with NCAA tournament appearance schools, but want to keep all my options open.

Masters’ ability to change the game with her shot-stopping ability, high-flying clearances on crosses, and full command of her box on through balls sets her apart from her peers in the goalkeeping position. She is also one of the most dedicated players on improving her craft and continues to develop and refine her game.
