Five 2025s from New Jersey on the rise

She is an attacking midfielder who impressed in the Girls Academy the past season. Aaronson earned an invite to the Girls Academy Mid-Atlantic Talent ID event where she starred from the start in that game. She showed against the best talent in that league that she can be an impactful player from the center attacking midfield role. She was a little off in the press and she gave perhaps too much respect to the opposition, but the overall potential she showed in that game suggested she will have a bright future at the next level for any program looking for a dynamic playmaker in the attacking third. With her quickness and her decisiveness on the ball, Aaronson has the quality to shine against top talent. Tall with a long wingspan, Carthy offers the physical profile of a top level goalkeeper at the college level. She has the quick reflexes and athleticism to be an elite shot-stopper. She wears the captain's armband for her club side. She plays as a center back for STA. She is a dominant force on the field. She is excellent in aerial duels with the timing and authority she has in those challenges. In defending, she uses her physicality well to challenges. With excellent body control, Perna regularly comes out of 50/50 duels cleanly with the ball. She is a center midfielder with a well rounded game. The aspect of her game that I think stands above her peers is her defensive instincts. She reads the game really well and punishes the opponent when they have a bad touch. On the ball, she is smart in possession. She rarely forces a pass and has a slight tendency to play back, but she is always looking for the outlet with the most space and potential for creating an advantage. Foley has the frame to handle the scrappy college game.
