About Brody
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Standing 6'2" and 174 lbs, I anchor the defense as starting Center Back for Lou Fusz MLS NEXT. My national-level experience includes multiple selections for USYNT National ID Camps and being named to the 'Best of' at MLS NEXT Fest. I have been voted Team Captain every year. I am highly coachable and smart both academically and on the field.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a composed, analytical leader who stabilizes the backline with calm authority and an elite tactical intelligence developed through years as team captain in the MLS NEXT system and at USYNT ID camps. Balancing a 4.21 WGPA with pre-med ambitions, I bring a surgeon's precision and intense discipline to both my academics and my training, prioritizing organization and clean distribution.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
My experience as a National athlete, high-achieving student and volunteer have built strong leadership, teamwork, and community service skills. Roles in team leadership as a YMSL Vice President sharpened my organization and accountability, while my work with Best Buddies deepened my empathy and ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I had to push through exhaustion, sacrifice social time, and manage the intense psychological pressure of competing at a National level, all while making sure my grades never dropped. Facing setbacks like a bad game or a hard exam taught me resilience and forced me to develop the grit, mental toughness, and time management skills necessary to build a strong work ethic both on and off the field.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm seeking a high-academic D1 soccer program where the coaching staff values my pre-med aspirations and understands the heavy demands of upper-level science labs. I want to find a university anchored by an on-campus medical center so I can easily log clinical hours around my training schedule. Access to resources will also be essential to balancing pre-med prerequisities with demanding travel.
