I've seen her play as a No. 9 and I was really impressed on what she put on game film from playing that role. She was a high-activity player who was excellent in the press. She showed good instincts in shielding the ball while playing with a center back on her back. She has nimble footwork and combined well with her teammates. She has the pace to get in behind the defense. Based on her personal highlights, she plays more on the wing and likes to run at defenders in 1v1 situations. She is right footed but likes to play on the left wing so she can cut inside. She has a wicked right footed shot that can rip the net off the post. Her future is probably on the wing, but getting these valuable minutes at center forward is developing other aspects of her game. She has an advanced approach to the game and does not waste much energy until the moment to make an impactful play presents itself. She has good footwork and showed her quality against Solar. Her playmaking quality might be slightly overshadowed because she is an excellent finisher, but the way she sees passes and plays the ball into the path of her teammates to run onto are special qualities for this age group. Heredia-Beltran is playing up an age group at the ECNL level, she is an 09 playing with the 08s. She's often still the best player on the field. Her speed of play definitely stands out as she looks like she is a step or two ahead of the competition in her movement. She is great in the combination play and is always looking for the quick 1-2 pass to get free of the mark. She has a good first touch and can play with a defender on her back.
