About Reece

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hello, I'm Reece. I have been a center back for the SD Surf ECNL Team since 2020. I have been training with the USYNT since 2023 and was recently rostered for the USYNT U15 and U16 International Roster (England). My strengths are staying calm under pressure, controlling the game from the backline, and quickly transitioning from defense to attacking and starting the attack.

Reece Li played as a midfielder for San Diego Surf G10 during this match. She is a strong and smart midfielder who has more defensive traits about her game but does well taking moments in the attacking half. Li displayed great positioning and communicates well. She supports the backline in good areas and tracks her mark well.

Li showed that she has great vision beyond the midfield. She can connect with the other mids but can also find players beyond the backline. Additionally, Reece is clever in her decision making and makes great runs to get on the ball. Ultimately, Reece Li is a creative and smart midfielder for San Diego Surf that makes a difference when she is on the pitch.
