The strength of FC Stars at this event was in their ability to win back possession of the ball quickly. The counter pressing from the side was organized and orchestrated to perfection. When reviewing game film from the event, Blosser’s actions in the center of the field continuously stood out from the game. Even when she wasn’t directly involved in the play, she was moving to close off passing options and forced the opposition into keeping the ball longer on their feet which led to more mistakes. Blosser’s read of the game was exceptional. Maggie Blosser, Jasmine NcNish, and Delaney Bertos were also standouts for FC Stars.
