Kaitlin Glenn
Kaitlin is quick, aggressive and had good attacking qualities. She shows these key attributes in her relentless press and recovery in high, wide areas. She also showed good dribbling ability as she won the majority of her 1v1 battles and was creative in her attempt to get out of tight spaces. She was always looking to move the ball forward and had a great natural attacking mindset.
Laney Stark
Laney Stark
Laney saw a great shot hit the back of the net to make it 3-2. It was an accurate powerful shot slotted in the bottom left corner. Laney was very aggressive, powerful and intelligent. She did well to slide into necessary pockets to better receive the ball high up. She did well to run through opponents to dispossess and did well to use that same strength to retain when running with the ball.
Kyra was one if not the most important player for St. Charles North. Kyra was brilliant in breaking lines and moving the ball forward whether it was her quick dribbling ability or her ability to play out of the back and break lines with a longer pass through the channels. She was intelligent, made good decisions and was consistent with them. She was timely with her passes, hardly making the wrong decision and had good vision play the ball forward. She is a great defender, using her physique to win most of her battles. She was very aggressive, strong to dispossess opponents and won most of her aerial battles too. She is a lock in the back but can easily be thrown in as a holding mid.
Rebecca is a key player for Naperville Central and an integral part in what they can accomplish. She is an engine and a facilitator for the Naperville side. She has very good control of the ball, and is composed when in possession. Head up and looks to find the open man without forcing the issue, showing good decision making. Attacking minded player but is a solid center-midfielder.

Eleanor Kane Eleanor Kane 5'6" | D Naperville Central | 2027 IL
Eleanor was smaller in stature but played like she was one of the tallest on the field. She was intelligent in her defending and had great awareness and positioning, reading the play well and being able to anticipate a lot of balls that went her way. A very good and strong tackler, while being of smaller stature, she won most of her 1v1 battles against stronger and taller opponents. Plays well out of the back but can improve her decision making in knowing when is the right time to retain the ball, play with her goalkeeper, get rid of the ball or play the ball forward. A bright young player Naperville Central can look forward.
Emma Russell
Emma Russell
Emma was a very interesting player. She began the game playing striker and was later moved to playing a more 10 role, before moving back to striker. It made sense why she was moved to playing a more attacking midfield role as her key attributes were her link up play, hold up play and her strength on the ball. She did however, look a lot better as a 9. Emma was very strong on the ball and played really well with her back against the goal, using said strength to hold the ball up as the team moved forward. She had great communication with her teammates as well, she consistently linked up very well with her wings and midfielders when attacking. A versatile player to watch.
Emerson Burke
Emerson Burke
Emerson is a handful for defenders. She did a really good job in the attacking transition, positioning herself well out wide when needed and in between the lanes when appropriate. She was an engine and had good physical abilities, consistently looking to get on the ball and hardly ever slowing down. She scored the second goal of the match after great movement off the ball to come across the field and be in the precise place to slot the ball past the St. Charles North keeper. Emerson consistently pressed well trying to force mistakes and was aggressive and brave in her efforts.
