Camryn George, Forward/Outside Defender, Wake FC, North Carolina

When you watch George play, you'll notice something very clever that she does. She lulls this outside defenders to sleep, seeming to sneak up on them and as soon as they are wrong-footed or switch off for a split second she times her run perfectly and she is in behind. She plays as an outside back or a wide forward, playing on the right side, but do not let that fool you as she loves to cut in on her left foot and it is very impressive. She puts shots away to the far post in the upper V, or cuts in and gets the keeper leaning right before dragging a shot to the inside of the right post. She is great with both feet as she can shoot from distance, finish up close or whip crosses into the box. She is very fast and routinely finds herself behind the defense because of her exceptional speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='156094' first='Anniston' last='Grant'], Outside Defender, TopHat, Georgia

Grant plays for the TopHat 2010 Gold team that won the GA title last year and are now heading to Norco, CA to defend their crown. She is an outside back that can play on either side, because she can use both feet equally well. She is a very stout defender who goes tackles hard and defends aggressively, and is an impressive 1v1 defender. She's a disruptive force, doing a great job of reading plays and cutting off passes, and she has great speed and can run down any attacker that gets behind with a through ball. She's also a weapon offensively. For one, she has a very long throw and is capable of using that to lead a quick offensive attack, and she loves to possess and get involved in the build up. She makes very good overlapping runs and makes herself available to be a threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='111509' first='Juliana' last='Friedrichsen'], Outside Defender, IMG Academy, Florida

As a defender, Friedrichsen responds and reacts quickly. She sees danger coming and acts appropriately. She steps in time to clear a ball, she beats attackers to balls down the line and she's so fast she gets there in time to possess and counter. She is not afraid to step in for a hard challenge and she's great about dropping in and covering a teammate out of position. When it comes to getting up the line on the right side, she does so with power and pace. She does not get knocked off the ball very easily and because she stays on her feet and shakes defenders, it opens up so much space for herself and her teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='136944' first='Emory' last='Kennett'], Keeper, United Futbol Academy, Georgia

College coaches have to love what they see from Kennett. First of all, she has good size, speed and athleticism. Just starting there, the raw tool set is excellent. Then you see her play and she is so quick with her reflexes and anticipates so well that she's truly hard to beat. She reacts quickly and gets to balls you would not expect her to. She's very good at stopping shots right in front when the ball comes through a crowd, she's good 1v1 and she's great about knowing when to come close the angle. She's also a commanding presence in the box and takes charge, and you can see that on corners and set pieces.

[player_tooltip player_id='132302' first='Kate' last='Leach'], Forward, TopHat, Georgia

Leach is a forward that can do it all. She can split the center backs and keep the ball at her feet and still get a dangerous shot off. If she is 1v1 with one of them, she is agile enough to create space and get a shot off. She can score with power, she can score with touch and she can score from tough angles. Leach reads defenders so well, and just has a knack for finding herself in acres of space because of the vision she possesses in seeing how the defenders are moving and shifting. She is also very good at sending in a ball to the area if runners move around her and get into the box and she is dangerous on free kicks.

[player_tooltip player_id='154861' first='Sofia' last='Palma'], Forward, HTX, Texas

Palma just moved to HTX in Texas and will be at her first GA playoffs, and she is a hard-nosed forward. She gets after it and will challenge defenders for the ball and do what she can to keep it in the attacking third. She is really good about using her agility and ability to turn bigger defenders, and separate from them. She is calm and collected, never getting rushed on the ball as you can see her processing her options, and doing so quickly. She plays a nice ball across the face of goal, and has the ability to score with both feet, from range or up close.

[player_tooltip player_id='141074' first='Bethany' last='Poklemba'], Outside Defender, TopHat, Georgia

Poklemba plays as a right outside back, but is versatile enough to really play anywhere in the back four. She is not an outside back that gets too locked into pushing forward when the opportunity is not there. She is very good at focusing on disrupting play, stepping into passing lanes and doing the dirty work on the defensive end. That isn't to say she doesn't like to push up, she certainly does, and she is very thoughtful and deliberate in her approach. She likes to play the ball from out wide and play it on the ground, then make a run inside. She is great with combination play and has a powerful leg from outside the box.

Deanna Romero, Forward, Palm Beach Gardens Predators, Florida

Romero is an incredible athlete, who is sneaky agile. It's not like some players where they look like they are being controlled with a joystick, but it is more subtle. She is really precise with her movements, and when she shakes a defender or splits them, it's with very controlled movements. She's also very relentless as she will run for days. She does not stop working and will put in a full shift. She doesn't quit on balls and that allows her to find herself in great situations where she is 1v1 with a defender or in on the keeper. she doesn't give up on a play when she's trailing, either, as she anticipates rebounds and chances to put the ball away. She is strong with both feet and has a rocket shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='139683' first='Lauryn' last='Smith'], Defender, Florida United, Florida

Smith can play as an outside back or a center back. She is right footed, but plays on the left, showing how capable she is with both feet. She is a 2026 that has to be attractive to recruiters because she has size, speed and physicality. When an attacker comes down the line, she uses her body well and wins the duel. With an aggressive defensive style, she wins balls in the air, tackles well and is really good about stepping into lanes. Going the other way, she is perfectly happy with the ball at her feet and will continue moving up the pitch if nobody steps up. She finds space well, has good technical skills and plays a nice ball. She plays as a center back for the Puerto Rican U17 team and is a total stud, showing a fearlessness and a relentlessness that you want from a defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='21956' first='Sydney' last='Snow'], Forward, TopHat Gold, Georgia

Snow is an incredibly crafty and creative No. 7. She can yo-yo back and forth, in and out and shows great agility side-to-side. She has tremendous speed, and plays much bigger than she is, showing a great amount of physicality. She does not get bullied around by defenders. Her ability to get around the corner and then send an accurate cross into the box is game-changing and her teammates are scoring goal because of her. She shows a great shot of her own, with the ability to hit a ball from distance or to make a timely run and finish one-time. She is a very dangerous attacking player.

Alana Yasuda, Forward, Florida United, Florida

Skill. For. Days. Yasuda is simply a jaw-dropping talent. She is basically impossible to defend with just one defender, as she will shake them. She is so quick, so agile and so clever that she can blow past anyone and then once she's off and running, she has great speed and is almost impossible to keep up with. She's such a unique talent and you can see why she is a U15 for Brazil. She is very good at cutting in from her No. 7 spot, drawing a crowd and then reversing the ball quickly to exploit space. Once she plays a ball she remains dangerous and finds pockets to be a threat.
