Juliana is one of the top defenders in the state of Florida for the class of 2027. The captain of the IMG Academy U17 Elite team in the Girls Academy (GA) league separated herself from the competition. She can play as a box-to-box mid but really stood out as a center back. Juliana demonstrated the technical skills to win 50/50 challenges and step into lanes to make clean tackles. She competed in regional ODP (Olympic Development Program) as well as being selected to play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with the Premier Soccer Development Academy (PSD) team. She is a top-level uncommitted player who should be making her decision soon as to where to play or the level of competition.

Friedrichsen is an outside back on the IMG Academy 09 squad. She can also play center back. She is a promising player for the next level. She has the physical profile and athleticism to be a college defender. She had a strong showing during the summer events. She hits a wonderful cross. She gets into the tackle with excellent technique and wins the ball consistently in the duel. She could improve on her body positioning before receiving the ball. She can get into difficult spots at times against pressing wingers. Friedrichsen has all the tools to reach the next level. 

Juliana is a right back who has some of the best work rates I have seen. Friedrichsen can win the ball back with exceptional timing and instantly goes on the attack. Her speed helps for both offense and defense but Juliana excels in one-two passes where she can run down the sides of the field and put a cross into the box for her striker. To help with her offensive capabilities Friedrichsen has excellent ball control and always keeps it close to avoid challenges from the defenders. In terms of her defensive game, her speed also allows her to close down space efficiently. Juliana does not allow the offense to breathe and can win the ball back well, which is why she is a key player for her team.
