She makes sure to draw a defender before playing a teammate, or carry the ball if no defender steps to her. Cason also maintains great spacing when she is moving without the ball. When her team is not in possession, she shows a strong engine and good pace, getting back into the midfield to pressure opponents and win the ball back.

Cason is a midfielder/forward from the IMG Academy Girls Academy. She is probably a No. 10 at the next level. She has all of the trademarks of a star in that role. The aspect of her game that makes her a top recruit is her ability to read the defense and anticipate where to be in order to be open for the cross or to get to the right spot to get the rebound on a deflection. She scores a lot of goals at the club level and she certainly has a powerful, accurate shot, but it’s the work she does off the ball that makes the biggest difference. She is the best player in this class at creating chances for herself with the timing of her runs and the space she creates against the opponent in opportune spots on the field.
