GA Frontier Conference: Three Texas Goalkeepers to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Girls Academy soccer club league 2024-2025 season started for the competitive Frontier Conference two weeks ago, on the weekend of August 31-1, with the first Conference matches taking place in Texas, Louisiana and Missouri, kicking off ten intense months of soccer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Frontier Conference has been one of the strongest in the league in the last few years and will continue to be this season as some of the most talented players in the nation represent clubs from the region.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Soccer Texas will be following the action as frequently as possible and providing coverage in text, photo and social media posts, giving the talented prospects from the Lone Star State some well-deserved recognition and exposure. We start our coverage featuring some players to watch in the upcoming season. She is expected to be one of the pillars of the team with her reliability and consistency between the posts. Hernandez is very agile between the posts, but also commands the penalty box efficiently, leaving her spot to handle crosses or close on opposing attackers when needed. The goalkeeper also plays an important role in communicating with her defenders and helping keep the backline in shape. The talented goalkeeper expects to continue her development in the league after emerging as a very promising prospect in the position in the ECNL. Flores is extremely explosive between the posts and her athleticism allows her to make saves that not many other goalkeepers would. She also knows her way around the penalty box and is always comfortable when she needs to deal with crosses or long passes behind the backline. She's established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in the Conference in her age group and will continue to develop her game this season. Moore is extremely consistent with her game and teams know exactly what they're going to get from her every time she steps on the field. One of her main attributes is her incredibly high soccer IQ, which gives her the ability to always make the right choice with her actions, even when under pressure.
