From watch list to ranked: California 2027 girls

These six players have been highly touted, but on the periphery of the rankings. Now, with this most recent update to the California 2027 girls rankings, they are now amongst ranked players have taken large jumps. They are excellent players who have been noticed.    An instinctive forward, the MVLA and Archbishop Mitty player shoots all the way up to No. 51. She has wonderful soccer acumen and a deep understanding of the forward position. She understands what it means to contribute in all areas. She is a fast player, a creative player who can score, but she also knows how to distribute, she understands that it is important to pressure the ball to step into passing lanes and to be a contributor all over the pitch.     Drago plays at Slammers FC and at Temecula Valley High and she is a player that has always had an advanced feel for the game. She is now ranked at No. 53, and has shown to be an excellent defensive player. She is a very good 1v1 defender, and she's also very instinctive and speedy, allowing her to cover any time the defense gets breached. In the air, or on the floor, she defends with a fierceness and she wins balls. She is also very comfortable in possession.     Glover moved up all the way to No. 29 after a stellar All-Conference season in ECNL play. She's a wonderful striker, who can use her big frame and physical capabilities to hold off defenders and play as a target striker, but her skills go beyond that. She can really play on the ball, taking on defenders, beating multiple at a time. She moves well, understands space and can hit a ball one-time when a ball is played in.     The Mustang SC player makes her move in the rankings to No. 64. Hester is a powerful player and a fantastic athlete. She uses her power to excel in 1v1 situations as she is just too physical for most attackers. She uses her athleticism to dispossess players cleanly, to make clean tackles and to win a foot race when tracking back. She is a ball-winner on balls in the air, and she can also play with the ball at her feet.     Kase is a very dangerous forward, one with good speed and one with the ability to score with either foot. She can play in the midfield because of her foot skills, her agility and her quickness, but she really stands out as a very athletic and cerebral forward. She is very good at using space, at manipulating the field and opening up areas for herself and her teammates. She shows great instincts in terms of where to be and an awareness of where her teammates are. She jumped up to No. 100.     This Beach FC forward is great on the ball and very creative. She's shifty and quick and very hard to defend and stay in front of. She drags out wide well, and can send a wicked ball into the area, but she can cut back inside on a dime and put a laser on frame. Her ability to change directions quickly makes her very hard to defend and allows her to create a lot of space.
