Taylor is an aggressive defender that will add skill and technique to the back line of any college roster. She has a passion for the game the is evident with her play. Mentink has a high motor and will give her all at the first whistle and won’t let up until the final whistle sounds. Her ability to win 50/50 balls in the final third when she is the last line of defense is impressive. This Washington Premier ECNL and Sumner HS product is calm, collected, dynamic and also has a great vision for the field. I have not seen a game that she hasn’t tallied an assist or been a part of a counterattack that leads to a score. Taylor has been overlooked but is among the most talented defenders in Washington State. She was named 1st Team All-League and the Defensive MVP of the SPSL in 2024. Her accolades have piled up over the years and her play speaks for itself.
