White has verbally committed to playing college soccer in 2024 at James Madison University. A member of the Virginia Development Academy side that has won four ECNL Mid-Atlantic titles, White brings to the Dukes excellent leadership experience at some of the highest levels in girls soccer. At VDA, she was a member of the 2020-2021 ECNL All Mid-Atlantic First team and the ECNL National ID Camp. On the pitch, she is a relentless striker using her speed and pace to constantly apply pressure to defenses. Particularly on the counter-attack, she makes excellent diagonal runs and can hit her shots with both speed and accuracy.

White is an uncommitted forward who has excelled for both VDA and for Massaponax High School. The speedy forward is  major weapon for both club and school on the counter-attack, effectively able to read where her teammates are placing the ball and making precise to connect with them. She also has a powerful right foot, allowing her to take difficult shots from distance. VDA has won the Mid-Atlantic Conference four years in a row, including finishing second in the National Finals in 2019 and are looking primed for another deep run this season. Look for Avery to play a major role during the ECNL Playoffs.
