She played as a box-to-box player, contributing on both ends of the pitch. Kylie found open pockets and was able to deliver quick and precise passes. Her closing in on players attempting runs to the box limited the high-scoring Surf team from making runs down the channel. Kylie is a top-level player in Hawaii and plays for Punahou High School. She is ranked #53 in the nation, #17 in AZ, and #8 in the position. Looking forward to seeing her rise in the rankings.

She plays as a mid/forward on her high school team. Last season she scored 11 goals and provided 2 assists in her freshman year. Kylie was also named to the All-Hawaii Girls Soccer Division 1 First Team during the 2024-2025 season. She has represented Hawaii as an ODP West Team player at Orlando 2024. Her team swept the East, South, and Midwest teams. She’s with the class of 2028 and is currently an uncommitted player. I previously evaluated her at last year’s ECNL National Playoffs, and she clearly stood out as a box-to-box player for the Utah Royals FC-AZ . She can find open pockets and make precise passes while slicing through the defense in the attacking third. Looking forward to having her have a breakout year. The USYNT call-up is definitely on a lot of scouts’ radars.

The Utah Royals AZ team is a joy to watch. A cohesive group that wants to win for each other way more than any player wants accolades for herself. The spotlight on Tang is the antithesis of that mantra, as most of the team deserves a shout on this Best XI.
The midfielder gets the attention this time because she made key plays in important moments in must-win games. Tang’s passing created chances for her team. Her service into the box delivered the perfect assist for her teammates. She even chipped in with goals too. She was exactly the type of attacking midfielder who scouts desire for their team.

Plays as box-to-box midfielder. Although she can track back to make win backs, her strength is on the offensive side of the pitch. Her ability to make cutbacks and slice through defenses helps her team to get into scoring positions. She finds open pockets in the defense and makes precise passes to runners taking diagonal and overlapping runs. She seems comfortable playing up a level and her competitive drive is what stands out as she plays at a high level on both ends of the pitch.
