Pomeroy is a left back on the [program_tooltip program_id='283635' first='Colorado' last='Rapids'] MLS Academy. He is part of the US U16 Men's Youth National Team. Pomeroy has emerged as one of the top professional prospects from the Rapids Academy in this class. Given the current trajectory for the Highlands Ranch-native, there is reason to believe he will be competing against older players by the end of the year. He's an excellent defender. A bit of an uncharacteristic call-up for the Youth National Team, as his strength lies in not showing up much in game film. He doesn't make many mistakes and does well in 1v1 duels. He's a no nonsense type of outside back and tends to prefer the safe outlet when in possession. Pomeroy is going to have plenty of interest thanks to his dominant defensive play this season at the highest level of the youth game.

Yamashev is a new arrival to Colorado this season. The Rapids recruited the forward from Richmond United (VA). He's improved in his rookie season with the Rapids Academy. He was outstanding at the ECNL level last season and the confidence and swagger has returned to his game in recent outings. He plays as a center forward. He's right footed, six-foot-one, and strong. There are quite a few moments in every game when he puts a defender on the ground in a duel with his lower body strength. It seems like defenders are caught off guard with how strong he is, but they should be aware of it at this point. He has the pace to get behind the defense. He is at his best when he can link up with the No. 10 and play quick combinations. He had some great moments this season showcasing this part of his game. As long as he continues to play with the confidence he has shown lately, he will be one of the top forwards in the MLS Next playoffs.

Ingebretson is a left wingback on the [program_tooltip program_id='283635' first='Colorado' last='Rapids'] MLS Academy. He is a local Coloradan, which seems noteworthy considering the amount of scouting and recruiting that MLS Academy has done in recent years. Ingebretson has been playing with the Rapids since 2020. He has continued to get better and earn more prominent playing time each season. He is 6-feet tall and left footed. Deployed as a wingback, he has the wheels and endurance to cover his side of the field from end-line to end-line. He was excellent against the Sounders recently, a showcase of his quality against some of the best attacking talent in the country. The scarcity of left-footed defenders should help amplify Ingebretson's potential for the next level.

Scott is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283723' first='Real' last='Colorado'] 09 MLS Next team. He is five-foot-11, right footed, and athletic. He is a versatile player - with experience playing in the center of the defense as well as the attack. Scott's well-rounded game lends well to a future at the No. 8 role. He can do it all. His recent play at the MLS Next level has been impressive. Playing for one of the best non-MLS teams, Scott has established himself as one of the key players on his side. Brilliant in his tactical positioning, he is often in the right spot to stop the counter-attack from the opposition. When in possession, Scott can ping a pass over distance with accuracy - a trait that his team will utilize on kick-offs at times. He has shown a lot of confidence on the ball lately and been taking on players off the dribble. The success in the middle of the field from winning his dribbling attempts has opened up another level of the [program_tooltip program_id='283723' first='Real' last='Colorado'] attack. Scott is one to watch from this group and has a bright future thanks to his skill, smarts, and commitment.

Lavender is a defender on the [program_tooltip program_id='283723' first='Real' last='Colorado'] 09 MLS Next team. He can play in the center of the defense or out wide - although I've mainly seen him in the center. He's an impactful and important player for his club team. He covers up mistakes along the defense with his pace and athleticism. He is also the type of center back who likes to progress the ball on the dribble into the attack. He's skillful and creates chances when he joins the attack. He picks his spots well when he gets on the run forward. His passing is another strong point of his game. He has recently contributed a couple of assists for his side with his accurate passes over the top of the opposing defense. Lavender has big-time potential from the 2027 class.

Khanbabian is a midfielder on the [program_tooltip program_id='283723' first='Real' last='Colorado'] U17 ECNL team. He was an ECNL Mountain All-Conference selection last year. A technically gifted midfielder with close control of the ball and excellent vision, Khanbabian immediately stands out from that level. His clever play, difficulty to dispossess and game-breaking quality in the final third. Khanbabian playing against 08s has shown that he can compete and standout against older competition (older in graduation year, not birth year). His club has done an excellent job of promoting top talent to the next level and his play this season has been good enough to attract interests.

Kaunda is a defender on the [program_tooltip program_id='283635' first='Colorado' last='Rapids'] 08 ECNL team. He plays center back for his club team. He is an award-winner for both club and high school. The left center back is a ball-dominant type of player. He's a ball hawk in a sense that he will find the ball, win possession, and quickly initiate the attack for his team. His quick decision-making is his one of his best strengths. Kaunda's ability to match up against any type of forward is another strength of his game. He has the pace to go against the speedy ones as well as the strength to handle the enforcer type. Kaunda has left an impression at both club and high school level in the past year and should be getting the attention of more scouts in the near future.
