3A Matchday 6’s Best Performers

Matchday 6 of the 3A level continued the pattern of separating the best teams from the rest. With this, many of the best teams' players shone bright. Some of the best teams had new players who impressed. In one case, a team had two siblings who performed spectacularly. Alongside them, I've chosen three other players who impressed me in this matchday.    Victoria is a brilliant forward who loves to drift out wide on the left. Drifting out onto the left allows her to cross the ball more easily on her dominant left foot. These crosses constantly cause danger, finding a teammate in the box with ease. If she isn't crossing, she's playing in great through balls. She makes sure her passes are placed perfectly, playing them straight into the path of the receiver. Another great attribute of hers is her finishing. Her shooting is fantastic, getting shots off whenever she finds a chance. If she's given a chance in the box, she'll take full advantage of it. This was evident in this matchday, where she gets 5 great goals in a 9-0 win.     Katherine plays alongside her sister for Oak Grove, doing so as an effective striker with fantastic output. Operating as close as to a "traditional 9" as possible, she makes sure positions herself in ways to get as many chances as possible. She does drop back sometimes, helping build up and link plays together. By no means is she selfish either, laying the ball off to teammates who may be in better positions than her. She picks up a few assists thanks to this ability of her. In the box, however, she's a monstruous player. Her composure and her finishing technique make her a nightmare for goalkeepers, beating them for fun. In the 9-0 win of this matchday, she scored 4 of them, terrorizing the defense alongside her sister.     Fleury appears once more in this <a href="https://prepsoccer.com/2025/04/3a-matchday-3s-best-players/">series</a>, proving how talented she is again. Though her previously described characteristics show how talented she is, in this match she proved to have more in her locker. She continues making deadly runs in behind the defence, beating the defenders first and then the goalkeeper easily. But, in this matchday, she proved to be creative. Her passes in behind the defense were spectacular, creating chances at any chance she gets. She makes this evident in this matchday, picking up 2 assists.     Zaniya is an interesting talent as a right winger. She is an incredibly uncomfortable player as she loves to float around between the wing and the channels. When she receives the ball, she plays it quickly, making getting the ball off her difficult. She loves to find pockets of space, making her diffiuclt to predict off the ball. Off the ball, she opens up her own space, helping her midfielders in their decision making.     Elizabeth is a raw talent who has it all down offensively. Being as effective and tireless while not being the finshed product, is exciting. In link-up, she helps take the pressure off her midfielders when she drops back. She looks for either her any attacker in better positions, or for one-twos to help the attack progress down the middle. These plays allows her team to move quick down the middle, in turn allowing her team to be high volume. This high volume benefits her as well, since she gets fed great balls to put in the back of the net. Her shots are fantastic and well placed. She has mastered penalties already, scoring them in a fashion that you see at an elite level.
