Expert Analysis
Roshelle Gobin | Prep Soccer Scout
Gonzalez brings versatility to the field, able to play both midfield and defense with equal control. Whether she’s stepping up from the back line or operating from the middle of the pitch, she consistently looks to play forward. Additionally, her patience and ability to disguise passes or movements open up the game and create opportunities. Her passing quality stands out, as she connects well with teammates in all areas of the field. Furthermore, her smart decision-making and high soccer IQ allow her to distribute the ball to the right place at the right time. Heading into camp, Gonzalez is not only a key player for Solar but also a well-rounded, skillful talent to watch.

Gonzalez helped Solar SC be one of the top teams of the weekend in Dallas, earning a pair of victories and not conceding any goals. She was very good for them in midfield against FC Stars Blue and helped the team triumph 2-0. A tall and technical player, Gonzalez was excellent on the ball, using her body to shield the ball and keep possession and showing great quality with her distribution, often connecting first-time passes. She was very active defensively, too, helping her team control the center of the field and doing very well when she stepped up to press high, helping generate turnovers and passing errors.
