Week 2 Triad Area Preseason Best Performers

Unbelievably fast and direct, the opposing right-back struggles to keep up with him for pace. When they do, they need to contend with how strong he is. His physical prowess is above normal for his age group, adding a fantastic boost for his team when they need to go out wide. Also, he has phenomenal stamina, which allows him to work as much as he does. When he's through on goal, he demonstrates mental fortitude and intelligence. He always looks for the play to be finalized through passes or shots. Always looking for the ball, he finds pockets of space wherever in order to circulate the ball. Typically, he finds these spaces more on the right than centrally or on the left. Regardless of where he receives the ball, though, he always looks to play the ball forward. His high volume of created chances allows his attackers to have plenty of opportunities to put the ball away. Passing backwards is not something his game is about, but if he has to, he'll make sure it's to move the ball forward. Active and determined, he doesn't let the opposing left-back have much time to think. His press also allows for either his team or himself to win the ball high up the pitch. When he dribbles, he likes to take the ball to the defender if there's space between them. If there's no space, he tries to get out of short spaces with bursts of pace. He shines in the box, though. If he finds himself with a goalscoring opportunity, he'll take it. Dropping back constantly to receive the ball, he's always looking to participate in plays. When he receives the ball, he plays passes wonderfully behind the defense. Precise and perfectly weighted, he makes it impossible for the opposition to intercept it. This, combined with his selflessness in the final third, makes him a constant threat.
