Girl’s College Commitment Scout Grade Chapter 46

Some will be happy, others might be pissed off and eager to prove me wrong.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have to give a big shout out to @ImYouthSoccer Instagram page for keeping up with these names flying off the board. Incredible work.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is all happening so fast this year. 2026 &amp; 2027's are making their verbal commitments to different schools. I'd like to remind everyone that verbal commitments are not official until a letter of intent is signed. Players &amp; Programs flip their verbal commitments all the time throughout this process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a very interesting time in American Youth Women's Soccer, as players seem to be more eager to commit to schools than in past years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's a fascinating system where kids can commit their futures to a program a whole 2 years before they step on campus. I will be giving out grades to recent commitments. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Please keep in mind if you are reading this and you didn't get the grade you wanted. If you have committed to play at a Division 1, 2 or 3 soccer program you are a great soccer player. Only 7% of high schoolers do what you have the opportunity to do. These grades are based on overall fit, style of play/positional need of that particular program, how the program is performing and if I believe the commitment will last 4-5 years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I also encourage players to make their highlight reels easy to access for scouts to evaluate on their social media platforms. She is a strong athletic profile who was an All-Region selection in high school. She is a EMSC product and is headed to a program who is 6-8-2 this season thus far. Couldn't find any film or accolades on her so difficult to gauge true talent level. The Gaels seem to be on the upward trend already matching their win total from last season and drastically improving from their abysmal 1-15-3 season, two years ago. Another excellent pick up for the Bison here as Francis is an elite 1 v 1 defender with an excellent burst of speed. She attacks space well on the dribble when she finds some and is not scared of getting stuck in defensively. Shim has excellent pedigree. She has been in USYNT camps and plays for an excellent club in Beach FC. She is definitely on the smaller side but she plays big. She has excellent technique and amazing soccer IQ. The Tritons aren't having a stellar season thus far at 4-6-6 but just got their biggest score in recruitment thus far. The Internationals product is headed to a program who have had a ton of success this season at 9-2-5. If they win out and other things go their way they will win the Horizon League and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Arlington SA product is going to a program on the rise as they have improved every season since 2023. She is versatile defender who can play anywhere along the back line. Very scrappy and competitive the Patomac High School standout has an excellent physical profile to be a successful division 1 player. I would definitely like to see her improve technically before she steps on campus. The Oologah High School state champion is a productive outside back who loves a tackle. She has most recently been with OEFC ECNL and shows excellent passing ability on film. Would love to see her improve her explosive power before stepping on campus in 2027. Oral Roberts have been on a tear this season at 11-3-2 although I think they will have to win the Summit League Tournament to ensure NCAA Tournament Qualification. Nidiffer is a top 65 talent out of Georgia who looks under ranked after watching her film. She is an excellent winger with a deceptive burst of speed and finishing ability. Really shifty on the dribble as well this young player is a GSA product who I think will surprise some people when she steps on campus. She is on the smaller side but she makes up for it with her competitive motor.
