The visiting side dropped their lead in the 14th minute of the second half, after sophomore forward Sarah Hardwick won the ball just outside the box and fired a shot in the upper corner.
The sophomore forward led the line for the Lady Bears, delivering a strong performance that included a goal and key contributions to their offensive efforts. Hardwick played the No. 9 role with a lot of mobility and freedom, dropping back to get on the ball and making plays out wide. She was very intelligent and efficient on the ball, connecting very well with her teammates and facilitating plays with first-time passes and passes behind the backline. Hardwick did a great job of quickly identifying the heavy first touch of a Langham Creek defender to dispossess her in her goal, also delivering a strong shot in the upper corner to score.

The freshman was very intense and dynamic in midfield for Bridgeland, having a key role in their playing system. Farrar was very determined defensively, providing invaluable support to the team's defensive system. She was arguably even more important offensively, moving very well off the ball to make herself available to her teammates and thriving with her distribution. Farrar was somewhat lucky with the shot that resulted in the Lady Bears' first goal and was a constant presence in the attacking half for them.

The senior anchored Bridgeline's backline, leading the team to a clean sheet in their first district match. Playing as a left-sided center back, Martin made some key defensive interventions, most notably a couple of tackles inside the penalty box in which Langham Creek could have scored. She used her body well to win duels, but also showed solid mobility to defend in transition, keeping up with some of the opponents' fastest attacking players. Martin also did a great shot in set pieces, providing great service from long-distance free kicks and almost scoring with a powerful shot from way out.

The senior was very good in her defensive midfielder role, shielding Bridgeland's backline with her solid physical presence and timely tackles. Hammond used her body well to win duels in the center of the field and covered a lot of ground, popping up in different areas of the field to make stops. Her excellent positioning also allowed her to deny Langham Creek a handful of long passing attempts, as she was able to deflect them with headers. Hammond also did solid work on the ball, moving the ball quickly, and sent the ball into the box that resulted in the team's third goal.

The senior spent time on both wings, playing most of the time on the left, and was one of Bridgeland's main attacking options. Le did a great job of staying wide and helping the Lady Bears stretch the field, and was nearly unstoppable in 1v1 plays, showing great footwork and great variation in her moves. The midfielder tried to attack in different ways, making plays out wide to get to the end line and coming inside to combine with her teammates. Le made a beautiful play in the second half in which she brought the ball inside from the left and dribbled two defenders before having her shot stopped by Langham Creek's goalkeeper.

The junior was Langham Creek's most active and impactful player on the field, getting heavily involved in the game in her central midfielder role. Lujano was very active defensively, playing in a double pivot with senior Roxana Cruz and covering a lot of ground and competing with great intensity in midfield. She also did well on the ball, moving the ball with intelligence, and often stepped into the final third to support the offense. Lujano also did well in set pieces, providing good service into the box.

Langham Creek's most advanced player on the field, the junior had a difficult task, often battling multiple Bridgeland defenders, but had some good moments, providing some offensive spark for her team. Turner did well when she dropped back to make holdup play around the midfield line, managing to keep possession more often than not and combining well with her teammates. The forward also used her pace well, making runs behind the backline and quickly covering ground in transition plays, generating a couple of good opportunities for the Lady Lobos.
