Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
The senior spent time on both wings, playing most of the time on the left, and was one of Bridgeland’s main attacking options. Le did a great job of staying wide and helping the Lady Bears stretch the field, and was nearly unstoppable in 1v1 plays, showing great footwork and great variation in her moves. The midfielder tried to attack in different ways, making plays out wide to get to the end line and coming inside to combine with her teammates. Le made a beautiful play in the second half in which she brought the ball inside from the left and dribbled two defenders before having her shot stopped by Langham Creek’s goalkeeper.

Le has been Bridgeland’s main creative force this season. Playing as No. 10, she has all the freedom she needs to circulate in the final third and has been very good at getting on the ball in good spots and creating chances for them. She’s very smooth on the ball and can be dangerous in a variety of ways as she has the skills to beat defenders off the dribble, the quickness to make combination plays through the middle and the vision to find attackers with her passes. Le is very quick in her mind and can find solutions to play even when under pressure.

Playing underneath striker Maddy Benker, Le was very active for the Lady Bears in their chance-creation efforts. The attacking midfielder moved well in the final third, finding the ball in good spots and making intelligent decisions when in possession. Le made good combination plays with Benker, fed the team’s wide players and also beat defenders off the dribble through the middle – she attempted a couple of long-distance shots, but was blocked. The midfielder was also very active defensively, putting pressure on Cy Ranch’s defenders and, on some occasions, winning the ball back in the attacking half and creating quick transition plays.

Another sophomore, Le will have a big role in Bridgeland’s chance-creation efforts this season after gradually getting better in her freshman campaign. She’s very smooth on the ball and is very good at making decisions in no time. Le is a very good dribbler too, who can beat opponents even in tight spaces, and create room for her to finish chances or assist a teammate. She’s a dangerous finisher and likes to shoot from distance.
