Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Allison is the ninth-best forward in Texas and the 30th most interesting prospect overall according to our new State Rankings. She captains Bridgeland during the high school season and leads the line for Albion Hurricanes FC U17 in the ECNL League. Most commonly used as a striker, Allison is very good at using her body to control the space and shield opponents away, being an excellent target for long passes and throw-ins. A lefty, she’s a lethal finisher who combines power and precision in her shots, being capable of scoring from well outside the penalty box. Allison also contributes with high-level playmaking, either dropping back to distribute the ball or drifting wide to make plays and get crosses into the box.

The forward was a constant threat to Challenge, leading Albion’s offense with solid plays and a high success rate in her actions. Allison operated very well with her back to the goal, using her body to control the space and serving as a target in free throws and long passes. The forward hurt her opponents in a variety of ways, as she made strong runs through the middle, dropped back to operate as a playmaker and also drifted wide to send crosses into the box. Allison displayed great positioning inside the box to score her first goal and was excellent at getting in front of a defender and heading the ball right into the corner to get her second one.

Albion’s striker Allison had a solid shift for her team despite not scoring goals. Her holdup play facilitated several plays in the final third and she won more duels than she lost against SA City’s physical center back. Allison moved very well in the final third and consistently looked for the ball, getting involved in most of the team’s attacking plays. She also did well by providing excellent service in set pieces and fired some dangerous shots from outside the penalty box.

Allison was a starter in her freshman season and should have an even bigger role this year. Last year, she was used on the left wing and delivered strong performances there, using her ability to beat defenders to take the ball to the end line and send great crosses into the penalty box. She’s very flexible tactically and can also play more centrally – as she works very well with her body to the goal and is an excellent finisher, a duo of him and Benker could be absolutely lethal. Hitting the ball with power and precision is another of Allison’s strengths and that makes of her a great weapon in set pieces.

The focal point of Albion’s offense, Allison did a very good job working with her back to the goal. Challenge had some physical defenders putting pressure on her, but the striker still managed to get to the end of several long passes, using her body extremely well to control the space. Allison was also very quick to decide what to do when the ball got to her, making smart turns on defenders or efficiently holding the ball until a teammate approached. She fired some dangerous shots and was extremely precise and intelligent in the cross that resulted in the team’s first goal, drifting to the right and creating space inside the penalty box.

A new face with Bridgeland this season, Allison has strengthened the team’s offense. A versatile player who can perform multiple roles offensively, she’s been used on the left of the team’s attack, where she’s been using her pace and dribbling ability to make plays and get to the end line to create chances. Besides having great quality on the ball, Allison also uses her body well to shield it from defenders, which helps her maintain possession even when under pressure. The winger has a lot of energy and has been doing a good job of dropping back to help the team on defense too.
