Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Lacombe plays for the George Ranch team that will appear in the Falcon Bracket, starting with a match against Fort Bend Elkins. She was an integral part of their attack in her freshman season and should have a much bigger role now. Lacombe thrives on the wings, where she can use her explosiveness and physicality to beat defenders and create chances. She uses both feet well and is somewhat unpredictable with her moves, keeping opposing defenders in their toes. Lacombe also gets into the penalty box to finish chances and is very disciplined to track back and help her team defend.

Lacombe and her team Albion Hurricanes FC ENCL RL are set to play against DKSC RL, Louisiana TDP Elite GA and Vegas United SC in the event. She’s a dynamic and aggressive winger, who uses her pace and dribbling to attack defenders and create chances. Lacombe can play on either side and is also capable of using both feet to pass and shoot, which makes of her a very difficult player to defend. She has a good presence inside the penalty box too and is physical enough to get on the end of long balls and control them.

Playing opposite to Moore, the freshman winger had similar success on the right, consistently creating chances for the Longhorns with her dribbling. Lacombe was particularly active in the second half, when she was unstoppable and created all sorts of problems for Foster. She played a big role in the game-winning goal, firing the shot that found Moore alone at the far post, and before that had made two excellent plays on the right, beating defenders and finding teammates in great spots to finish inside the penalty box with her accurate crossing.

Lacombe was Albion’s most dangerous offensive player in the match. She split her time between playing on the left and in a more central position and displayed a well-rounded skill set to produce in roles that required different things from her. The forward used her physical tools to shield the ball and make plays around the penatly box and displayed an interesting ability to dribble and finish with both foot. Lacombe also had success dropping back to get on the ball and finding good passes.
