The sophomore right back left the match injured, still in the first half, but while she was on the field, she had a nearly flawless performance. Reddick was extremely dominant defensively, winning basically every duel with Asekomhe, and keeping one of Seven Lakes’ main offensive weapons quiet. The right back had some good runs forward and also made an offensive impact by connecting accurate long passes out of the back, which found her teammates in good spots in th attacking half.

The sophomore outside back combined extremely well with Lovell and made of Ridge Point’s right side of the field a very strong part of the team. Reddick bombed forward the entire time and was very confident on the ball, going at defenders to take the ball to the end line or bring it inside. Her passing was excellent too, either with quick, short connections with her teammates or in long, diagonally balls that found attackers in great spots. Reddick kept the intensity level high the entire time and handled well Austin’s attempts in her zone, making firm interventions.

Reddick’s high-energy game makes a very positive impact on her Albion Hurricanes FC ECNL 09 team. She splits her time on the field between the two outside back spots and never lacks in intensity and determination on the field. Reddick is very well-versed offensively, being very prolific at getting to the end line and hitting the ball with extreme precision, be it to send a cross into the penalty box, to finish from distance, or to take a free kick or corner kick. The outside back is also very solid on the defensive side of the game, doing a good job of putting pressure on opponents and using her pace to recover and defend in transition.

Reddick was a starter in a loaded Ridge Point team in her freshman high school season and also plays for Albion Hurricanes FC 09 in the ECNL. She plays with a lot of intensity and is versatile, being capable of playing at either outside back spot, adjusting well to a back four or a back three. Reddick uses her athleticism extremely well on defense, putting a lot of pressure on the attacker she’s defending and using her pace to track back and cover her teammates when needed. She’s also an interesting offensive weapon, getting to the end line with ease and crossing with impressive precision. Reddick is also accurate with her set pieces, adding another dimension to her teams’ offenses.

The fact that Reddick earned a starting spot in a loaded Ridge Point team as a freshman speaks volumes about her potential. Her ability to play at either outside back position certainly helped, but she has definitely been showing more than enough qualities to prove she’s a real asset to them. Reddick is very good defensively, using her athleticism to put pressure on opponents and her pace to chase them on the flanks. She has excellent defensive instincts, rarely puts a foot wrong with her positioning and is very smart to understand where she needs to move to better help her team. The outside back also has great quality going forward, using her pace to quickly get to the end line and make crosses and her passing ability to help the team create through the middle.

With Reddick at right back, Albion Hurricanes had solid performances over the weekend, getting two wins and one tie. A very physical and intense player, she was extremely active defensively and kept things under control on her side of the field. Reddick was very good at tackling opponents, but also displayed great reading to come inside to cover teammates and give her team an extra body to defend inside the penalty box. The outside back was also of great importance offensively, consistently carrying the ball upfield with good runs down the right and offering an option out wide.

Riddick offers so much quality to her side from the outside back position. She is an excellent 1v1 defender – physical, smart, and possesses elite pace. Riddick impressed with her skill on the ball too. She was calm in possession and worked out of pressure without rushing into an action. Even if there was a bad touch (mainly due to the playing surface), Riddick still kept her composure and used her body to shield the ball to keep it in her possession. She’s already showing aspects of her game that suggests she has top level potential. She offers quite a bit in the final third with her crossing and her delivery is among the best on the team so she takes the corner kicks for her side as well. Zoe Trevino,

Reddick is a defender on the AHFC 09 team. She is listed as a center back/full back on her player profile. I’ve only seen her play outside back, but the qualities to be a good center back are clearly there too. Reddick stood out from the play for her defensive qualities. Good at reading the game and anticipating the next move from the opponent, she is a shutdown defender. She really caught my eye with her set pieces. She regularly provides assists with her excellent delivery. She is a difference-maker for her ECNL team on both sides of the ball.
