The junior was one of the standouts in the Stratford defensive system that earned a clean sheet and did a very good job of limiting Northbrook's goalscoring opportunities. Playing as a left-side center back, Gifford used his physical tools to dominate opponents and make strong defensive plays alongside fellow central defender Juan Colo. The defender also did a good job of reading plays and was very quick to step up and intercept passes. Gifford demonstrated good quality on the ball, managing to keep possession under pressure and thriving with his distribution, connecting short and long passes at a solid rate.

The senior played as an attacking midfielder and, even if his ability to get involved in Stratford's playmaking wasn't always there, was the focal point of the team's offense. Burdick did well when he dropped deeper to get on the ball and feed the wingers with long, diagonal passes, getting just the right weight on the ball to find them in good spots. He had some good runs through the middle, passed the ball well in the final third, and had some dangerous shots. Burdick also showed great ability in the air, successfully redirecting long passes in the attacking half with his head and getting a couple of dangerous finishes on target.

The junior had a very solid shift at right back, contributing to Stratford's strong defensive performance. Yim was nearly flawless defensively, having great success in his actions around the penalty box, showing good instincts and excellent timing. The outside back was beaten a couple of times, but was excellent with his recovery, shutting opponents down and stopping them before they got into the box. Yim showed calm and confidence on the ball to pass his way through Northbrook's pressure and did well on the few occasions he stepped into the attacking half.

The junior led Northbrook's backline and helped them keep Stratford scoreless despite their larger possession. Playing as a right-sided center back, Vazquez was very dependable with his actions, standing out for his positioning. The defender was very quick when intercepting passes and very precise with his tackling, making a couple of key stops. Vazquez had a big role in the team's buildup, showing nice precision with long balls, be it to find teammates in the attacking half or to send long free kicks into the box.

The junior goalkeeper was very solid between the posts and also played a big role in Northbrook's clean sheet. Salgado was frequently put to work by the Spartans and handled their shots, mostly from outside the box, confidently and efficiently. He made a big save near the end of the first half, diving to the feet of Stratford's forward [player_tooltip player_id='278489' first='Lorenzo' last='Maule'] after he made a run behind the backline to deny him the space to score. Salgado also did well when putting the ball back in play, getting it to teammates in the backline with throws when he could, but also showing good accuracy with his long punts.

The sophomore was Northbrook's most creative player and dictated the pace of their offense. Playing as a central midfielder, Carmona got on the ball a lot and combined well with junior Ricardo Robledo to make plays and help the team get it into the attacking half. The midfielder moved very well off the ball, getting into open spots and facilitating plays with first-time passes. Carmona also showed good vision to make plays in the final third, remaining patient in possession and waiting for the right option to pass the ball.
