SoCAL SHOWCASE
This eight-team boys event features FAB 50 No. 15 Servite (Calif.) and No. 34 Bellarmine Prep (Calif.).
Orange Lutheran (Calif.) 1, Cathedral (Calif.) 0: Sophomore Xavier Alcantar scored on a direct free kick, which was earned when sophomore Jimu Lee was fouled.
Servite (Calif.) 2, St. Paul’s (La.) 1: UC Santa Barbara signee Eduardo Villeda Eduardo Villeda M CA scored both goals as Servite improved to 7-1. St. Paul’s goal was scored by junior Brennan Leblanc, assisted by junior Kristian Ernst.
St. Augustine (Calif.) 4, De La Salle (Calif.) 2, Loyola (Calif.) 0: Anthony Torres scored both goals for De La Salle.
Bellarmine Prep (Calif.) 2, Loyola (Calif.) 0: Keagan Rhodes Keagan Rhodes D CA and Kavi Krishnan scored for Bellarmine in a win over Loyola as the Bells remained undefeated.

The boys event was set up to feature 16 teams, but one dropped due to COVID issues. The eight-team national showcase features FAB 50 No. 6 Torrey Pines (Calif.) and No. 41 San Clemente (Calif.).
San Clemente 4, Long Beach Wilson 0: Meelad Ahmadi scored twice as San Clemente cruised to a first-round victory.
San Dieguito Academy 1, San Pasqual 0: Jackson D’Alessandro Jackson D’Alessandro D CA ’s second-half goal lifted San Dieguito to an upset victory. San Pasqual had defeated San Dieguito last week.
