One of the highlights of this elite program is an adult/bridge program that features a UPSL women's team to help female athletes transition from college to the professional level. Only a few elite programs offer this opportunity, and I'm hoping to see more programs nationwide adopt this format to further our players' opportunities to compete at the highest levels.

I've covered at least three of Rylee's high school matches thus far, and this is being the first of hers in club competition. One thing present at each outing is that she's a player who is consistently making plays on both ends of the pitch. Although she might start at a winger or forward position, her ability to track back and make defensive stops are definite strengths in her game. In this match, she took on players in 1v1s near the touchline and while making runs in the attacking third. Her precise passing to players making runs into the 18 was well timed and accurately placed. She had a few close shots on goal in the first half that sailed just a bit over or slightly wide of the goal. She made up for it in the second half with a beautiful shot from range while catching the goalkeeper off her line and dipping it below the crossbar. She's a talented player with invites to youth national teams from Guatemala and Puerto Rico.

She was [program_tooltip program_id='283244' first='Almaden' last='FC']'s main goal-scoring threat throughout the match. She scored her team's opening goal in the 3rd minute of play and followed up with goal #2 in the 11th minute. Aashi was active up top and provided high pressure to help keep Sacramento pinned on their defensive third for multiple series. When she did get the ball in the attacking third, she made quick give-and-go passes and connected with players making diagonal runs to the box. Her footwork and ball movement in the 18 were excellent, and her two scores were strong, high-percentage finishes. While she contributed to the Mitty JV squad this past year, I look forward to covering her at the varsity level. She will definitely make an impact on the offensive side.

She disrupted plays on the defensive side and made strong passes in the attacking third. Utilizing her size and footwork skills, Ella helped to keep possession in their attacking third. I really liked how she made quick and precise one-two passes while under pressure and her ability to move in tight spaces. Her ability to track back and make strong defensive stops will help her to develop into a collegiate player. I believe she is a player with a great upside, and she will be someone we will be hearing about more sooner rather than later.

She played poised and in control. Her footwork and ability to make cutbacks and change directions were definitely strengths. I really liked how she pressed forward on attack and made strong crosses from the right side and how she communicated with her teammates. She has a good sense of finding open pockets in the defense, and she can make the quick and precise passes to overlapping runners. Rebecca played a lot of minutes at Los Altos, and I'm looking forward to covering more of their matches next season, as I believe she will have a breakout year with the Eagles.

She helped to solidify the defensive backline and keep Sacramento off the boards. Her strong presence pushed attackers to make runs from the channels and not make high-percentage shots from in the penalty area. Her size advantage allowed her to clear aerial attempts and to effectively mark players on corner kicks. I really liked how she was quick with transitioning from the defense to counterattacks. She will be a player scouts will be looking at carefully for regional talent pools and possibly further. She has a great upside and a motor to keep the defense running.
