About Rylee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggreesive player and I play with intensity. I love pressing high, battling for 50/50 balls, and speeding up the attack to keep the other team on their heels. I can play multiple positions, including striker, winger, midfielder, or outside back, and still make an impact.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don’t back down from pressure either. I actually enjoy those big moments and try to lead by example in games and in training. For me, it’s not just about working hard. It’s about staying smart, adjusting to the game, and competing every single time I play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not at the moment but will be looking to do this my junior year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volunteering at Loaves & Fishes and helping coach younger futsal teams, I have developed strong leadership and better communication skills. At Loaves & Fishes, I learned the importance of serving my community, working with others, and being dependable. As a volunteer coach, I help younger players improve their skills, encourage teamwork, and set a positive example.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I have faced is adapting to different roles on my soccer team. There have been games where I was asked to play multiple positions (even ones I have never played). This challenged me to quickly, adjust my playing style and developa daptability and resilience. I learned that being flexible and willing to step outside my comfort zone can make me a more valuable teammate.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics and a good community. I definitely want to play soccer in college because it’s a big part of my life, and I want to keep improving as a player. I’m looking for a school that will help me grow both academically and personally while supporting my goals on and off the field.
