Preview: Prep Soccer Girls ID Camp: NorCal 2026 – Part 1

Players interested in signing up should do it quickly, as the spots are limited at both the NorCal and SoCal camps.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This article will primarily focus on the NorCal event. The venue is at the beautiful campus of Foothill College Soccer Field in the Los Altos Hills, CA. Attending players must locate the soccer field and not mistake the stadium for where the event will take place. Signs pointing towards the soccer field should be available at the time of the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>College coaches and programs across the country rely on Prep Soccer to identify emerging talent by attending events and reading evaluations.&nbsp; Whether athletes are building early exposure or competing for direct college interest, Prep Soccer's platform --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The coaches started them with stretching/dynamic warm-up drills, then it moved to small stations to test specific skills. There were essentially 4 stations, and each featured an activity to evaluate players. The camp ended with a scrimmage showcasing their technical abilities.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Scouts and coaches were looking at their strengths, endurance, and recovery. Other factors that separated players were coachability, body language, and a positive attitude.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The camp featured many recognized high school and club players in the prep soccer system. Yet, a few of them clearly stood out and left an indelible impression and would further make a name for themselves in the upcoming recruiting seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are the results or statistics for the 28 players who attended the event in 2024. With the class of 2026 and 2027 players, most have made commitments to Division 1 programs. A few elite players have also participated in international competition as USYNT players or other teams from North and Central America, and some are highly ranked at the state and national levels.
