High school standouts highlight recent girls commitment list

<p class="p2"><span class="s1">[player_tooltip player_id="25226" first="Lauren" last="Fields"], a Class of 2023 defender for Ohio Elite, verbally committed to Dayton, she confirmed over Twitter this week.</span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">Fields was a second-team all-league performer for a Mount Notre Dame (Ohio) squad that went 22-0-1, won the Ohio Division I state title and finished No. 4 in the final FAB 50 for the 2021 fall high school season. Mount Notre Dame, with four returning all-league players, including Fields, will be a strong candidate for FAB 50 No. 1 entering the 2022 season.</span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">Two other highly decorated Class of 2023 high school players made their decisions this week, as well. </span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">Forward [player_tooltip player_id="22856" first="Ella" last="Pisani"], who plays for Scorpions and King Philip (Mass.), committed to Fairfield. Pisani was a Hockomock All-League first-team honoree and earned Eastern Massachusetts All-State honors. She also scored a goal for Team Blue in the Eastern Massachusetts Girls Soccer Coaches All-Star contest.</span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">Defender [player_tooltip player_id="40691" first="Kaley" last="Simqu"], who plays for Hotspurs and Plum (Pa.) stayed close to home with a commitment to Pitt.
