Diaz is not available for the start of the season as she continues to recover from a knee injury, but expect her to make a major impact when she’s ready to play for HTX 07. An El Salvador international, she operates as a deep-lying playmaker and puts her stamp in basically every play created by the team, setting their tempo on the field. Diaz is very intelligent and accurate with her distribution and helps connect the dots in the team’s offense. The midfielder also does a great job in set pieces, either striking them directly to the goal or sending crosses into the penalty box.
