The starting goalkeeper of the Albion Hurricanes FC 08 team, Allen will be tested against Charlotte Independence, Midwest United FC and Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals in Dallas. Her game has grown tremendously over the last year or so and has earned her a spot among Texas’ most intriguing goalkeepers. The tools have always been there but as Allen continued to improve the mental aspect of her game, she started to put the pieces together and become consistently good for her teams. She’s a terrific shot-stopper, with excellent reflexes and determination to keep the ball out of the goal no matter what. Allen also communicates very well with her teammates and makes sure everything is organized at the back.

Allen will be between the posts when her team Albion Hurricanes FC 08 plays Placer United, Davis Legacy, and Mustang SC. She’s a goalkeeper on the rise in Texas, having recently delivered strong performances and shown she can perform under pressure. Allen is an excellent shot-stopper, with the reflexes and athleticism needed to make stops in short-distance shots. She’s getting better and better at dealing with crosses and is excellent at constantly communicating with her backline and keeping things organized in the back.

Allen was strongly tested in a match where Solar had the ball for the vast majority of the time and did a great job. She handled the pressure extremely well and made multiple saves that kept Albion in the game despite Solar’s dominance. She was reliable in long-distance shots and showed great reflexes when they got to finish inside the penalty box. With Albion struggling to build out of the back due to Solar’s high press, her punts became their only way to get the ball forward and she was precise with most of them, finding the forwards up top.

Allen will be between the posts when Albion Hurricanes FC 08 face FC Alliance, WNY Flash and Slammers FC over the weekend in North Carolina. She has a good size and uses her length to get to difficult shots on the corners, also occasionally using her legs to make some really nice stops in close-range finishes. Allen is also very effective in the way she sends the ball to the sides when she can’t catch it, rarely giving up rebounds in dangerous areas. She used to play as a forward with her high school team Duchnese Academy of the Sacred Heart and has good quality in possession as well.
