As a key member of the U15 squad advancing to the finals, Garcia demonstrated her transitional playmaking abilities throughout the tournament. In today’s matchup against Tonka Fusion, she will look to help propel her team toward a national title. Notably, her strikes from distance have served as valuable assets for her side, as she scored two nearly identical goals during the playoffs. Moreover, Garcia’s awareness and timing in choosing when to shoot reflect her high soccer IQ and deep understanding of the game. She consistently recognizes available space and, without hesitation, takes her chances often resulting in goals for her team.

Garcia is a midfielder on So Cal Reds 2011 Girls Academy. She was part of the Girls Academy Southwest Talent ID event. She is a do-it-all type of midfielder. She lined up as an attacking midfielder at times for So Cal Reds during the GA Playoffs, but it seems like she can drop back to a defensive role when the game situation calls on her to hep see out a result. She’s a ferocious defender with a unrelenting approach to 1v1 duels. The defensive instincts suggest a possibility (and bright future) as a center back.
