Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I create a supportive atmosphere in practices & games, building strong connections with my teammates. I thrive under pressure, communicating effectively to keep everyone focused. I’m fearless in 1v1 situations, confidently challenging opponents. My quick reflexes & shot-stopping skills help me make key saves, while my soccer IQ allows me to read the game well, driven by competitiveness to improve.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is about being resilient. I believe in uplifting my teammates and creating an encouraging environment. I’m approachable & ready to listen, making communication easy. I embrace challenges and show no fear, whether in games or practice. My competitive nature pushes me to improve and inspire others. Overall, I strive to be a motivating force on my team, helping everyone achieve success.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m a member of National Honor Society, where we do community service, & the Safe Driving Club, focusing on distracted driving awareness. This summer, I volunteered weekly at Methodist Hospital in the Pre-Op department. I also work 4-5 days a week at a pet boarding place, and I’ve maintained straight A's in my honors & AP classes. I scored a 1370 on the PSAT in October which I am really proud of!
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
In my first job, I've developed valuable teamwork skills off the field. I learned to train new employees & support my coworkers, ensuring everyone completes their responsibilities. Additionally, I communicate proactively with my boss about my soccer and school schedule. I’ve navigated tough conversations to ensure I leave on time for practice, improving my assertiveness and problem-solving skills.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m open to any size school. I initially thought I’d attend a large university like my parents, believing my outgoing personality would help me thrive. However, exploring smaller campuses has revealed the benefits of a close-knit community and personalized attention from professors. Ultimately, I’m looking for a college that aligns with my academic goals and values while excelling on the field.
