Philbin is the center back partner for Poretto. She is a bit more aggressive in her approach as Poretto can sit back and let Philbin get involved in tackles and stepping up a level to pressure a forward who dropped a line. The mobility and athleticism of Philbin to track those players is a major asset. Once her team wins possession, Philbin is immediately an option. She moves swiftly to open up to her teammates and provide them with that back pass if needed to break pressure. Her tactical instincts are excellent for a young player. The Eclipse 07 team plays in a challenging conference in the ECNL, but the team has some real gems who should on the radar of scouts.
