About Anslee
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
For starters, I communicate constantly on the field so that my team is organized and that we are all on the same page. I do my part of getting back even when I’m forward and making runs down line to create opportunities for crosses and assists. I use my speed to my advantage to beat my opponents down line and in my one 1V1 battle and if the ball is lost I ALWAYS make sure to have a second action.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I think that mentality is one of the most important things about soccer. Every day of practice I show up with a smile, ready to learn and bond with my teammates. My club coach constantly tells me that I help make practice enjoyable and uplifting for everyone, by staying by positive yet hardworking. I keep up my positive attitude not just at practice but on the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Anyone can have these qualities, but it’s about being consistent. Every Sunday I show up to my Friend Ship Circle buddies house to volunteer. even if I already have a packed day. I bring that same mentality to soccer always showing up to practice, even if I’m exhausted. And always showing out at games, not just working for myself, but for my team!
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Income is a big problem in my family as I have a single Mom providing for me and my brother, and my dad whom became paralyzed from an accident 3 years ago needs constant hospitalization and help but hardship shouldn’t define a person it makes you stronger so I stay positive and keep performing no matter what, to make my parents proud, make my moms sacrifices worth it and shape a future for myself.
What type of college are you looking for?
The type of college I’m looking for is still very broad!
