The Ivy League has quite a few ballers on the way in the 2026 class.

Tansil is one of a handful that stood out to me. The winger has the potential to be the best player in the conference early on in her career. She’s only starting to scratch the surface of her potential. Elite athleticism combined with sheer determination, Tansil is one of the best attacking talents in the country.

Brown landing the local star gives a big boost to their class and shows that the rest of the Ivy League is going to be trying to slow down the squad that Kia McNeill put together.

The ECNL All Conference honoree from last season switched from Conncecticut FC to Scorpions SC for the 2024/2025 campaign. She’s found a new home, but she hasn’t slowed down at all and continues to be a top attacking talent in the ECNL. Tansil has elevated her game. She’s developed a partnership with the attacking talent on Scorpions to be a formidable, nearly unstoppable force – particularly her play with Kambryl Armstrong Kambryl Armstrong F MA has been excellent. She is a ferocious two-way threat. Fearless in the tackle, and lightning quick the ball, Tansil’s tenacious play forces the game to her side of the field and puts a ton of pressure on the opposition. This opened up every opponent for Scorpions. Tansil won her duels – as she always does – but it created space for her teammates to flourish among the dozens of scouts in attendance. It was a terrific showing from the winger with the highest upside among uncommitted 2026 talent. 

Tansil is an ECNL All-American, ECNL Conference Player of the Year who plays for Connecticut FC 08 ECNL. She is a dynamic winger who is skillful with both feet. Her best attribute is her long stride as once she gets going, she is tough to catch. Usually with long stride-heavy players, they don’t do well in tight spaces, but Tansil is the exception. She combines well in tight spaces and does well in breaking through the line of the defense with the help of her teammates. She can play on either side of the formation. She is right footed, but good on either foot and has been spectacular on the left wing this season as well. Considering the lack of depth on the left wing in this class, there is probably a more pressing need to recruit her into that role, but she has been a prolific scorer recently while playing right wing. Tansil offers a strong defensive game too. She is light on feet and quick to close space. She is a weapon in the press. There is a lot to like about her game, and there is a clear path for her to the next level.
