About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dynamic defender with the ability to play with both my left and right foot. Known for my competitive drive and dependability, I combine speed and precision to dominate the defensive line. I excel under pressure, consistently shutting down offensive threats and seamlessly transitioning the ball to midfielders and the attacking line. I am a versatile player as a center back and outside back.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I approach challenges with a positive attitude while persevering in the face of adversity. My personality is marked by a strong work ethic, determination, resiliency, discipline, being a team player, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I exhibit strong sportsmanship and leadership, while continuously striving for personal and team growth. This is exemplified by my reliability, positive attitude, adaptability, selflessness, awareness, and my trust and respect for my teammates and coaches. I volunteer in my community to help those in need, with the hope that I’m able to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Malace is a versatile defender for Fairfax VA Union 09. She can play on either side of the defense or even in the center. The strong parts of her game come from her distribution. She’s impressive with her accuracy on long range passes. She can ping a ball with pace over distance at an elite level. Malace’s play at the ECNL playoffs showed that she can contain the best forwards in the country. She has that type of quality as an outside back. Her golden right foot showed why scouts should prioritize her from the 2027 class.
