About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast, technical and versatile player. I am comfortable playing the ball with both my left and right foot and have the ability to distribute quickly and accurately. With my strong field vision, I am able to move the ball forward to help create many scoring opportunities.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a team player who brings positive energy and leadership to the field. I am hardworking, always willing to put the extra time into developing my game both on and off the field. My club coach says that I am a, "natural leader who is driven, passionate, and dedicated."

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Surf Select Eastern Regional Showcase (Invite only) - Fall 2025 Selected to 2008 Surf Select National Team (Blue)-2025 Selected to the Surf Select 2008 North East Team 2025 Invited to attend the New England Top 100 Showcase - 2024/2025 NEPSAC Quarterfinalist, Class B 2024 EIL Undefeated Season 2024 Selected to the ODP Sub Regional and Regional Teams - 2023

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was nominated to be President of NCL(National Charity League) for my class. I completed over 35 hours of service this past year with charities, mostly with Boston Community Pediatrics. I am an ambassador for the Hidden Opponent (raising awareness for athletes mental health). I also serve as an assistant soccer coach and mentor in our town and club program.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to many different types of schools but I am specifically looking for a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. I hope to bring my positive energy and enthusiasm to a school that will continue to develop me as a person by providing exciting opportunities and experiences.
